Mortality is what makes the world go round. Everyone can't be a creature of the night or weild essence like a sword. Somewhere there must be the one thing that keeps the balance of things in check, the mundane. Playing a mundane need not be dull though. The wonderful thing about playing a mundane is that you have the ability to build a story from nothing. To leave behind innocents as you uncover a darker world of supernatural amazement and danger. So see, there's nothing dull about being normal, it's all one big adventure.

Note: Mundane characters have no supernatural skills. Because of this these characters are more disadvantaged than their supernatural counterparts, as they lack the ability to face down many of the dangers that lurk in the alleyways of their world. While we will never turn away a vanilla waitress or a naive college student (everyone starts somewhere), characters who are intended to find themselves 'in the mix' of the supernatural should be extraordinary individuals, with exceptional or even specialized physical or mental prowess that will allow them to suffer the world of the supernatural.
